Benefit Pull In Missouri

We are going to have a few nice items donated and up for raffling also.... A full exhaust system, hopefully a f.a.s.s system, and mcs diesel will also be donating something. I am also trying to get jon isaac from floor it diesel in kansas to bring his dyno. Hopefully that will work out. Maybe we will give out one of those items as a prize for high hp... Anyone that knows they are coming for sure pm and let me know. Trying to get a round about number on how many people. Thanks

I would be interested in coming down if I knew I could pull. I can't get to the DHRA rules from work, is there a class that allows twins?

I just checked out out the dhra rules for superstreet, it looks like I only need a master air cutoff (in cab and rear of truck controls), front driveshaft loop, rear driveshaft loop (both rear joint and mid shaft), an SFI approved jacket, and approved helmet.

The good news, I can ditch my entire interior only need the drivers seat, driveline is unlimited (swap in some rockwells), can go 1/2" larger on my big turbo, don't need rear brakes, and can run a fixed susp in the rear or a 4-link. Don't think these are going to happen on my daily driver...

Are they going to use these rules for seperating the classes only or will I have to meet all the requirements listed above to pull at all?

Rules arent that strict. Basically motor mods to keep everyone in the correct class. Suspension mods and stuff like that. Drive shaft loops and things like that arent a big deal. Running their weight classes and everything else. Just be there without trying to spin 6k rpms in the street class and there will be a spot for ya.

We are coming and bringing some freinds my sons twin turboed truck and a buddies streetclass.tring to round up some more. we donated our sled for a benefit for a little girl Carlie Jo a couple of years ago.It is a very good thing you are doing .A group of us put on a pull in Washington.last you on M.day week end for St.Judes.Will be doing another on in 2008 don,t know what date yet.
see you there

I hate to say it but I guess I won't be able to make it as we are going be pulling the motor out this week and dismatling for the new build. I still may try and drive up just to show my support and bring a donation or two.

Good Luck with everything and God Bless.....

If somebody comes with a set of twins he I would strongly suggest at least a rear ujoint shield. If your blowing the tires off the ujoint won't see the stress, but if it is a really tacky track and pulls the wheels down the street twin trucks won't fall off the charger. A ujoint in the stands is very bad. A rear ujoint shield is cheap, and doesn't effect streetabliity. It would be terrible if a benefit pull happened and someone got hurt at it.

Personally I fee if a truck has a non stock charger and/or smokes, it should require a rear ujoint shield.

WE pull with the DHRA SS class even tho my son drive it everyday to work have all the safty stuff.I have to put the air shut off back on.

Glad to hear you will make it. Sorry to hear some of you arent. Got alot of ideas from the pull that was in washington. Scott Starling gave me a little info on how to do some of this and i think it was based on that pull. The diesel class will be Work Stock, Street Diesel, and Super Street which will have your twin turbo trucks. I know there are a couple trucks running around washington with them and a couple around owensville area. Unfortunately one of them wont be put back together in time. We will be giving out prize money. Probably going to set how much at a drivers type meeting. So we see what kind of turnout we have. Think work stock we will pay $100, $75, and $25. Other two classes will be $175, $125, and $100. We will also run some exhibition runs if there is anyone that has some nitrous. No payout for that. Let me know if this all sounds ok with you guys. Thanks

That sound good I do know that most of the pullers will donate what ever winning back to the benifit at least all the guys that a know will.because that what this is all about helping others.
