Billet S-300

I would like to know what benefits this 71mm S300 charger has over a S400sx 71/74/.9ar.

I want to know performance benfits.

is the charger you are comparing avail with a t-3 ex housing?

if it is i would imagine that mine would be a lot easier to spool and not req an external gate

cant tell you for sure cuz i have never ran either of them

this one will bolt right on to a stock manifold

it has a .7 a/r comp housing and approx .8 ex housing

it is right around 13.5 cm², before porting

htt casts in a small dam into their ex housings. they put em right infront of the gate orfices. they prolly did that cuz of the problems they were having trying to hang two 1" pucks off of a stock arm. those dayz are gone and so are the dams. there are no restrictions before the valutes

how many cm² is .9 a/r ?

what dia shaft does the 400 have ? how much does it weigh ?

the turbine, shaft, and housing are all larger in what you are comparing so i would say that yours is set up for more fuel

it would make more power, but later

are you interested in purchasing this charger?

I am curious about this too, but would have to figure the lesser inertia of the smaller frame/wheels of the 300 would equate to faster spool although at cost of reduced max. flow.
Also would like to know about the pressure ratios running such large wheels in (relatively) small housings.:poke: prolly otta start a new thread for that though.:blahblah1:

:aiwebs_022:my point exactly... those wheels would have to be gaed at about 40pis or so your not going to get much more out of it...

again, please, if you are not interested in purchasing this charger please refrain from posting

this is a 7 blade wheel people, it was designed to move a lot of air, not to make 100 psi

if you are running a 66/74 and want more but dont want to redo your whole system here ya go

Really? I would tend to stick with the 66 if staying with the T-3 frame......

Does HTT have a MAP posted anywhere of this T-3 based 71/74?

so you are not interested in purchasing it but you want to see the map?

hope the mods clean this up cuz this is bullshi♀

i placed an ad here and there are 3 pages of people trying to rip on the item

NONE OF WHICH ARE AT ALL INTERESTED IN PURCHASING IT

wtf

Scooter, I am not at all ripping on the turbo? And your ad is repeatedly bumped back to the top. Look at how many views there have been.

And I believe there were a few "potential" customers interested in seeing pics. Is it hard for you to snap off a few pictures to help the impulse buyers with cash in their pockets burning??? Hell... I get impulsey when I see bling myself.....:hehe:

Your asking 3,000 dollars for a 2.8 charger there are going to be people asking for pics and specs and maps... jesus 3k dollars I could have a bad ass 13mm pump.. bump to the top I just wanna see pics

Its a bit disconcerting when somebody asks a legitimate question about the product, and before answering, the seller asks the potential buyer if he is interested in purchasing. And no pics either. No way in hell i'd drop 3 g's on something i'd never seen, especially when aesthetics are something that the seller is stressing as one of the main selling-points.

Look at my pretty charger I'm selling...f-off i post no pics aholes unless u buy....LMFAO

Same here because Your attitude really seems to suck and anybody that is really interesed in high performance and this large A turbo sure as hell aint going to pay 3 grand because it is shiny.

Scooter here's a billet 71mm wheel- thats in my shop-

And it's NOT in a T 3 based frame.

While everyone awaits pics of the blingy blingy turbo that is for sale here, I figured I would keep this on topic by the origonal poster when he mentions rust, also some bling to keep those potential buyers occupied while they await your pics...

:hehe: And once again a bump for the sale..... :hehe:

Don-
So I have this head for my Vipertruck/Common Rail project and I have been spending some time here and there working between projects right, so since your so intent on insisting we have rusty housings, I thought you might have indepth knowledge in rust.... While I myself can't stand rust- it does have it's place. For reference I mention Rat Rods as an example where rust would be acceptable IMHO. Now, back to this head and your wealth of knowledge in rust- again since you pointed rust out, I've noticed that in the water jackets there are traces of it, please inform me of proper treatment to combat this situation?
