Thanks. No dought it will continue racing and even very soon, the question is who will be driving it? And will it continue to be powered by a oil burner, I sure hope so, a couple people here are interested in swaping over to a D-Max, thats cool and all and with 1000+ hp man it would burn but, going right back with a 12v sure would be easy for someone. I'll bolt the custom engine mounts back in place and get a few more pic's this evening. Ryan

If I recall the truck was 4500 pounds with a bit of weight added. Seems to me a good way to move to the head of the pro street field....

Ya, the bolt in ballast of course goes with it. Remember I built it soley to compete locally in the 1/8th, it could still be geared to be very competetive in the 1/4 with this TH400, I just didnt care anything about it. The big convertors I use would allow a tall gear and still work great. For example: 3:00 gear/ 33.5"tire/ 4500rpm is still 150mph. Even at just 4k its still ~135mph
Although it could work: a od tranny would be idea for the 1/4

Thanks man, I hope to see it still out there competing in Pro Street. I am making a change but my interest still lie in mostly blasting down the 1/8th at the local tracks. It's paid for and not eating anything though so....most are scared to take the plunge with this economy, and I dont blame em'. Things will turn around one day I hope, but us gear heads still have to keep our minds and hands busy ya know.
 
Ive passed on 8, how about 8800....
Dont let it go back to gas racing guys, an old 12v and a 350 dollar TH400 and your back on the track racing for under 10k. Ask around what others have in thier Pro Street rigs, you can be up top of the heap with the least amount of money, thats hard to do in racing....

Remember the 2 stage nitrous system and water/meth is still hook up and in place, I have a custom intake I built that crosses over the valve covers that I'll also throw in, its 4" and has many bungs welded inplace to hook up the water and spray just as it was before, also saftey stap welded in to keep from blowing the 4" boot apart. Also have the big CAC and piping that I once ran on it that could go, I could post pic's of this stuff tomorrow if needed...

Both flow .110 thier feed by a -6 wye, so that everything would acually be able to flow all of both systems if needed. 1 10# bottle with heater and blanket. I get 8-10 passes on one fill. Snow stage 2, I have the controller it came with but didnt like it and put it on a hobbs. I'll tell ya how to tune it also but it will cost ya 8800

Thanks Mike, it's a solid truck that works well for sure. It got listed on Craigslist today and having lots of calls, I have a firm offer from another gasser for 8k even, Im concidering it......... he would also have no use in the mater/meth system nor the nitrous stuff, so maybe it would be a wash to get to keep those things... I do wished a diesel [cummins] guy would grab it while its still available, you wouldnt regreat it after one pass down the track!
