Blown Head Gasket for the 2nd time... need some good sound advise this time.

haha yeah so far they seem good.
the real test is on thursday, im heading out to the dunes with my sandcar and 30' toyhauler. So I'll get to see how "cool" they run pulling a heavy load:woohoo:

im about to jump into the world of running twins. i have a ht60 that ill have to work with. motor isnt studded or oringed. am i simply wasting my time?

I'd tighten those studs up a bit also, try 150 that will help thats were I put mine and have had good luck.

Don't expect it to last long though. It took me about 2weeks to blow my head gasket when I put on the twins.

I'm not running twins, built a fresh motor and two weeks later popped a hg. So we ended up just re torquing about 4 times the first week after we replaced it. And never really running over half throttle. Didnt want to put too much stress on it. Then twice a week for the next two weeks. Seems like a lot of work, but, knock on wood, no problems since. I also have 425s. And a stock thickness HG. They seem to be holding up fine to 50psi. for now. Just my 2 cents. Good luck man!
