Brake and abs light on

once u put the new tipm in take a can of flex seal spray and seal the bottom up good , the road spray we have here in the winter of pa kills these trucks, rubber seal coatings go a long way to help it down the road. ps i knew it had to do with fuse 30 :poke: been there done that.....

Problem is that I did not have a fuse in that spot from the factory. Plus the truck never sees winter and barely any rain.

My truck will turn on the brake and abs light randomly. But my TIPM is shorted out so I'm sure its all related to that...

I had like happen but like stated earlier for my truck the fuse box was labeled wrong
I put a fuse in the spare locations and it went away
I had tried replacing the speed sensor but no luck
And just a FYI your abs might not be working if the abs is on
I found that out when I jumped on the brakes and slide thru a red light so be cautious

Yep, 30 &31 are labeled wrong. Had issues earlier in the week and while pulling and checking fuses I put 30 into the 31 spot ( because that's what the cover says) and the lights came on. Read this thread and switched them and all is good. Thanks!
