Breaks while spooling

The code is P0973 Transmission overdrive circuit voltage too low. Cleared it still no 4th threw code again.

Bad OD solenoid?

That would be great also makes more sense being I'm normally not that hard on overdrive. I had the aftermarket suncoast solenoids in it and this is the first one since I put in the suncoast solenoids in.

whats wrong with the factory solenoids I know they are very touchy and go out at any time when you have them out.

Got it fixed. This is my pull from this week end. I got it to spool early. Sled was very heavy here in the pull off. Trying different tires in the back. Dont seem to pull as good. I took off all terains(bald in center) put on my baja claws 1/4 tread.

I have only seen claws work in certain circumstances:

1) brand new ones on firm sticky clay (anything would have worked)
2) total muddy crap track
3) when they're cut & sharpened to about 1/4" tread depth (illegal for most)

Everyone who has claws, eventually sells them.

Very true, I have a set for sale!!

Matt Williams AKA Ragged Out ran a set of baja claws on the front of his puller. They seemed to do pretty decent. He won several pulls with them on there.

I do good with the claws in front just not in back. Tried many track conditions and same results. I am changing from 33" tires to 35" BFGs. Going to try 35s for the first time.

ummm i thought you were still pulling your white dually? and those didn't look much like claws to me unless somebody did alot of cutting on them.

I have a 3.0 turbo and the truck will hit 20lbs in about 4 seconds, thats with a 2400 stall, something a little wierd..

You can see from my last video I spool slower now and dont leave the line until the EGT guage reads above 1000 degrees. Then it will light quickly. Before I would increase throttle to quickly I guess. Here is another video same night in the pull off where we were high hooked. I spooled longer and left with the EGT's passing 1200 degrees. I wont do it again seems to work best at just past 1000 degrees. Now I am throwing a speed sensor code and when I clear it and puch the cruise control button for high idle cool down throws the code again and cruise light goes out and high idle doesnt work now.
