Built drag truck having issues

The loud bang I describe is like my exhaust comes apart. It gets loud and then shakes
 
I'm kind of in the middle here bc my truck is at the shop of where it got built and it's an hour away from me and I'm unable to drive there during the week or I'd have this thing apart already
 
I can't really see valve float causing the bridges to come off tho.. Or will it? I've floated valves in mine and didn't even know till I pulled the head due to a blow head gasket and there were several nice stamps in a few pistons lol. But that was from running a 188/220 with stock thickness gasket :doh:
 
Are the mini tappets/Cups on the end of the rockers where they meet the valve crosshead?

I'm talking about #9 in the diagram.
