Cast Iron Flywheel Explodes

But, but, they cost too much...

Safety has no cost for me...my 1/2 ton will have a tranny blanket, I just don't want to risk it!

We had a 4020 at our pull in wooster, the cast flywheel came apart and sawed the tractor completely in HALF! The only thing left holding the the front of the tractor to the rear were 2 hyd. lines! That was it! Pieces flew through the air for more than 400ft!!
 
Remember the old days when stuff would fly into the crowd and kill people, I like safety!
