congrats to REDSTROKE 1312hp @ TS

I've been drooling over his setup for the last couple of months and it's good to hear he's set the bar.....with the "small" pump. lol 12V Forever!!!

What he was only making 40# on #2. He was making 75# every time when we went for the death ride/tuneing on wed. Ya like Rod said he only got the thing running on wed. Wait till they get that thing tuned up and the big pump on. I cant wait for merchants spring fling. Was he able to actually keep it hooked up on they dyno. Evey time he sprayed on the road it just left some crazy long black marks.

Trucks like these, all they do is test in 2wd... won't someone try 4x4? :) now spinning 4 at 90mph, that's gota be one hell of a ride!

Way to go adam that is awesome can't wait to see the video.
*nx*:woohoo::woohoo::clap:

just read on another site that thatis officaily the new national record on a chassis dyno , way to go adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not bad for a 1 day old build up, and and a new HTS Transmission setup.

How will you do the tuning for something like this on the street? I am guessing you will want to turn the nitrous down/off for towing? Will you then use a different map for the ECU? What about trans control?

it is a 12V , we will need to tun the wastegates so they don't open to early

How about electronically operated wastegates controlled by programmable ECU ?:pop:

I am all for the p pump guys 12 or 24 valve, but what did it do on #2 only. We dynoed my brothers 97 with 287,000 miles and stock pump tweaked with full cuts 5k springs gutted afc and 18* timing, 300 injectors and a silver bullet. Dynoed 527 and 1077 on Floor It diesel's dyno dynamics load down dyno. It was at the Smoke show dyno days in Coffeen IL. We left early so i dont know how the rest of the dynos turned out, but considering he got 15mpg for the trip there, I did a badass 3rd gear burnout when leaving and nothing broke i think we had a good day. Anyway, those are great numbers but lets talk diesel not nitrous. Just my opinion, Tim

Some people build and tune knowing they are gonna spray. It ain't cheating because you don't have the stones to do it:poke:

I disagree with both of those statements. I do have the balls to spray but i dont believe 600 to 700 horse worth of nitrous is worth giving someone a ataboy for. My post was basically in regards to the fact that they said he dynoed 1300 horse and towed a trailer. He did not have 1300 while towing but probably the 5 to 600 range which is still awesome. I dont know the guy and will not say anything bad about him. I am sure it is a damn good truck but anyone of us could do the same thing. I could spray my mower with a hundredhorse shot, but i wouldn't mow with the dang thing. To Redstoke, congrats i meant know disrespect to you and i apoligize. Tim

I agree to a point, but it is not easy to pick up that kind of power from nitrous. It still requires tuning and work. Not exactly something any of us could do.

To me the fact that he is running that much spray and can still spool his turbos well enough to still tow is more impressive.

L Mills, R Brown and countless others have been on top of the dyno world for a while now spraying the life out of these things and all of the sudden the # gets discounted?

You build a truck, bring it to what will be the biggest show of the year towing down another truck on a gooseneck, Lay down a 1200hp and a 1300hp run with in a couple minutes of each other. Climb out and go to make an adjustment and go the wrong way

Not making excuses for how the third run (fuel only) ended up, Adam went to raise the gate pressure up and actually lowered it. 40lbs out of that combo with the fuel that truck has is far from "all she's got"

There will be other dyno days and I am sure it will run a fuel only number at Merchants if not before.
