Surely it can't be the later, I've only ever seen your truck on a dyno putting up fake numbers and gloating about what a badass you are making big power on a stock turbo. I occasionally get beat by a CR Cummins but it's usurally due to traction issues. I think with more RPM's they would be more competitive. They don't seem to be able to come out of the hole hard enough. I can come out at 4500rpm in 4th or 5th gear LO and my buddy who pulls a CR can only come out at maybe 3300rpm in 5th LO. So if you're going big,like 3.0 class, go with something that can fuel past 3500rpm.
