i don't think im alone here when i ask, please, reiterate on this comment and why.
i hate the fact that there is no concrete evidence here. i want to see the same truck on the same day with the same % over switching nozzles with dyno #'s and data logging showing differences in EGT's, RP, etc etc...
If the VCO was superior, why after 2 engine designs and 5yrs did Cummins go to a sac type nozzle in a light truck application for the first time? Especially being that the emission stadards are the highest they have ever had to deal with. GM/Duramax also did this from LB7 to LLY, and every nozzle used since has been sac type.
