Critique my list of upcoming upgrades

Ok, I'll try the needle valve first. If that doesn't fix it to my liking I might send it in. The buzzing really driving me nuts. Why does the gauge jump to 10-12 psi if I slam on the brakes?


Now on to the next problem......ordering a Raptor or Fass. I'm also concerned about the IP going any day now that I know it's been running at 2-8 psi for god knows how long.

I believe I have the in-tank pump. How do I confirm this?

Have you had the dealer fix the lift pump?
 
I haven't but I believe the previous owner did. I don't have a lift pump on the block anymore though. It was removed by the previous owner which is why we always assumed it had the in tank version. Hopefully it wasn't just removed......that would explain the low pressure.
 
I wonder if there is a fuel pickup tube problem causing the problem when braking. Have you tried it with a completely full tank?
 
No I haven't however last night I'm running around doing some errands and all the sudden the pressure jumps up to about 15 and stayed there for quite awhile. Then it eventually went back down to 6-8 psi. On my way into work this morning I'm cruising along at 30 mph and all the sudden the pressure jump to almost 30psi. I just don't understand it.
