Wrong. Companies you use have suppliers of raw materials in China, where are the fertilizers for the crops you eat made, where is the fuel you buy refined, etc...

And I have talked to Vets that lost friends, and I know a guy with a Purple Heart, most of them have a better understanding and grasp of the way the world community does business and manufactures products. They choose to live in the 21st century. You might try it here, it's pretty nice.
 
My grandpa stormed normandy, the other was a bomber in WW2 and test pilot, neither of them had an issue buying stuff from overseas. Hell one of them shopped at walmart almost every day.

and this is why it is a problem. Dude I grow what I eat, and I grow alot of what you eat, I know what when and how the products put in affect the American population, I just wish that "the average guy" would put as much thought into his country as those before/around him.... but it is not so...
I thought I was in the 21st century.... I am on a computer and though that they were supposed to bring enlitenment to the masses... evidently NOT

Pretty sure that OVERSEAS is not the issue..... Free trade and open markets are(or should be) different than buying from and supporting a COMMUNIST governed country, too many red blooded AMERICAN service men have died fighting against it to make it OK.... It is gotten away with cause no one will take a stand and say NO....

Do you even realize that regardless of how many toyota cars and trucks are built here and how many jobs toyota creates here it IS STILL A SMOKE SCREEN???? The jobs are here because toyota (japan)knows their population is too smart to by many foreign products.... so they build them here use the ole AMERICAN JOBS routine and then what...??? Do you get it???? TAKE THE PROFITS OVERSEAS..... When they come back it is to buy up our big citys and more business.... If half of all Americans where as savy as 10% of our foreign counterparts everyone in the US who ate Top Ramen tonight woulda had prime rib...

My buddy bought one gasket here in Mexico it said made in England,
ordered another one from USA and said made in China

Same part number both 12v .20 over
 
I wouldn't worry at all about made in China, if it is a Cummins gasket it has a quality standard it has to meet.

Lane sounds like a guy who came into Lowe's wanting to make his own spike well because he didn't want to give up money to "the man".

My pappo fought in WWII and he has no problem buyin' stuff that was built overseas
 
I wouldn't worry about the China headgasket. When I bought the upper end gasket set for my 97, that's what that headgasket was. Has held 60 psi of boost, head is o-ringed and studded, for 30k miles, and the new owner runs the hell out of the truck.
 
it's not just head gasket's go pick up an oil pump or water pump that is new not a R and guess what it's made in china as well
