Current Record for VP44 w/single charger?

I think the stack was the key to it all :hehe: But just look at my sig it pretty much tells all my secrets I got nothin to hide. I do want more power thou still not enough for me but only like to run #2 only.

so i guess the Monster pumps are working !!!

It was with a B-1 Steroid, I had the charger after him, and was specd to be a 62/16 i believe and not sure on what kind of Exhaust wheel it had. It was a TAD turbo and my truck ran it's best fuel only number of 12.36 with that charger. Wish i never sold it.

That turbo had a titanium compressor if I recall correctly.

edge comp level 2= 635hp 1165tq
edge comp level 3= 649hp 1240tq
edge comp level 4= 651hp 1209tq
edge comp level 5= 602hp 1159tq

edge comp level 2= 635hp 1165tq
edge comp level 3= 649hp 1240tq
edge comp level 4= 651hp 1209tq

That is Bad A$$....

Must be the Stack!

Larger turbo would definately be a step in the right direction.

Oddly enough, the truck doesn't have the monster lope that most others do, could just be the humungous stack covering it up.

Wish i would have gotten video of it now :bang:bang

It was a very good running truck with room for more yet, great job guys.:rockwoot:

Whats the record for a an hy or hx? I know what many have said they are limited too... but how far has a stocker been pushed? Not that its a record I'm shooting for or anything like that... just curious is all.

Update!!! Update!!!! Update!!!!

Adam Winslett just broke the 1000hp barrier at the Nor Cal Diesel Rally in Redding CA. He went 1060hp with 2 small stages of squeeze and a single charger!!! On a dyno jet 248c the old MADDOG DYNO!!!

Check out the DYNO forum to see all the talk!!!!

:rockwoot::rockwoot:

Anybody have a clue as to what Adam's truck makes off the gas?

I wouldn't quite call it easy, Gus LOL

I would like to see where the trucks stands amongst the other monster pumpers out there though.

Would like to know myself. *nx* is the easy part.

Gus,

You should stick to talking about subjects you understandLOL. Stating that nitrous is easy and requires no thought shows your ignorance on the subject of nitrous. Always remember this..... It doesn't matter how much power you can make on fuel... The same motor can make more on nitrous. The real question is how much is too much? When should it be sprayed? Where should it be sprayed? When should it be shut off? How much bottle pressure should be maintained down the track? etc.......

Now for the topic of this thread.........Congradulations to Adam for setting the new bar and record of the VP series pumps:rockwoot:. I am glad to see they are still on the rise.

I understand it completely - that's why I say it's easy. Good results come from preparation, knowledge and the right equipment. I just can't figure out which one of my Monster VP powered trucks I'm gonna spray first. When I decide I'll let you know.

I agree with Dennis.......

Sorry but if it was easy everybody would be doing it.................
