Nice truck from long distance, very strange rear door configuration

i never should have found this posting. really gets my brain thinking about how to do this. when i got my 96 i traded my 98 1500 and that had the functioning rear suicide doors. i never realized my 96 didnt even have rear doors :bang kinda difficult getting the baby in her car seat like that lol

Some pictures of Greeds22 truck, it have the best looking home made rear doors

I want to do this with my 97!

By the time it gets back on the road the only thing that won't be new/rebuilt will be the frame and body!:nail:

I just got through re-reading this whole thread and saving the pics....I went to Bayer's website...appearantly they are no longer offering 4 door conversions. :bang :bang :bang

With last few years I have collect lots of pictures from Internet about this topic.

My favourite is still home made mega with extended rear doors :ylsuper:

Mine will probably be going for sale later this year. Too much going on right now in my life to own a custom truck like this. It's an awesome truck, but I need something else for the wife to drive, so it's gonna have to go.

Thanks
Looks like quad cab+ 20 inch strech+ extended cab

Idea was good , but looks unproffesionally made ....

I seen what I think was a baer conversion last year at a local show, 2500 long 4x4 with a 360 gas.

The owner said an older gentleman had it built to haul campers...........and that it got 24 mpg loaded. That was when I left.
