Dekalb super pull (Eaton Oh)

Wes, I was not there.... just was told that a common rail had the long pull but was dq'd, is that what happened?

I wasnt there either, just seen the vid. look like the CR and Evan were both at the sandpile, but i figured with Evan's truck shorter that he probally had second.

The common rail is Dustin Kraft from Northeast Ohio. Very strong running truck. He got DQ'd for not having a kill switch, but was then given second place after they *****ed. coatpa website seems to confirm this version as they have Kraft AND Gainer placing second.

I have the common rail. I was not aware of the kill switch rule because we dont have that rule in ne ohio on street trucks....So i talked to one of the officals before the pull and they said it would be ok since ive never pulled down there before. Then they tried to d/q me after i pulled..BS...Once they found the guy who said it was ok everything was cleared up.

sounds like someone was complaining that you didnt meet the rules.

Good run though.

That appeared to be a 5th low gear?? I've pulled that gear its a big gear and hard on the clutch. My Iron Giant lasted 4 pulls. I'll be going to a triple disc this year.

It was 4th low, it was a tight track. I have a 3850 with over 40 hooks on it. It is time to upgrade..

That's after they DQ'd the longest pull, right?

:what:

Nope.. they might have DQ'ed the 2nd longest pull but i know in my vid my weights where in the sand and my truck is shorter then a 4 door dodge and his weight was not in the sand...close but short of it.... i herd 212.xx' for me

Not everybody lives on the internet. He was told when he showed it was not needed.

If that was a Chevy with a Powermax sticker on it you would be calling a cheat, and saying he is lucky the hook counted at all.:rules:

Has Ohio ever had a pull where there hasn't been wild accusations of cheating and fights after the fact?
