delivery valve washers

did a search but couldnt find any definate answers. I'm putting a set of 024 dv's in my 160 pump and am wondering if i want to keep the washers in there or should i get rid of them?

Sealing.

I removed the washers on my 160 pump when I installed 024 DVs, truck ran smooth after the install and had a nice increase in power.

For sealing only...not needed with any style dv, but Bosch recommends using them with the 131 style assy. so they seal perfectly against the barrel.

so would it be wise to remove them on a stock pump with stock dv ?or would i notice anything?

Shouldn't change anything noticeable.

well now i know. haha. put new washers when i swapped dv's today and dont think im gonna take it back apart to take them out
