In the dhra rules I agree with about all of them other then the 4500 rpm limit rule. Me personally I dont know why they changed it this year because I thought that was why they added a workstock class to the lineup. I just dont think its fair for all of us high rpm trucks that pull in the class when we need to exceed 4500 to reach are biggest power to make a good pull. But I was just wondering if anyone agrees with me on this and if so is there any possible way to change it back like it used to be?

Sup Justin???? Don't you have some Souljah boy to listen to??? LOL

IMO, wokstock is already a Dmax class, no need to give the v8's any nfair advantage in street either..... you could just keep your foot off the floor though LOL

this is josh his little brother lol, but hell some of these dual cp3 trucks are startin to run pretty close to the high rpm trucks in the class and if we cant use all of are motor and have to stay under the 4500 rpm range then were not going to make a good pull.

Tell Justin I said to change the CD in the truck to Slayer before he pulls....rap makes you loose about 10 feet LOL

sorry for the dumb question? but is there a technical way of tech'ing for what rpm? (besides hitting the pedal?)

Tattle tale switch..... And it is audibly noticeable as well

Some sleds have a tell-tale gauge on them. Each truck must provide a single wire tach hookup along with the normal safety stops. If RPM is exceeded, the pull is void.

got it. you guys are all out i guess. which is cool. we can't touch ya'll up in the PNW. not many extreme trucks that i know of.

I dont mind not having the 4500rpm rule, hope to be able to do much more then that with my cr anyway, be nice to be able to go to dhra and not worry about it.

I personally hope the 3.0 class with water + unlimited RPM's becomes a reality.

Dang u got a A/W Ic what else you want sub 0 intake temp LOL

well I really like the 2.8 rule because it allows me to pull in many other pulls close around my home, its just the 4500 rpm limit that I really disagree about.

I know a drag truck that was going to use dry ice but a safty concern came up

I dont mind the 3.0 rule cause I can just change comp housing to pull in whatever class 2.8 or 3.0.

its a stupid rule in my opinion, like the electric water pump rule. your my hero though, you keep pulling and getting dq'd. dhra might not like it butt he crowd does and thats all that matters.

I am all for getting rid of the limit. I know some say street trucks dont rev that high. Well not true. I ran mine past 4500rpm on the street. I was not in the Street class either.:evil

You need to get a petition together from the guys who pulled in the class, that made 50% or better of the pulls this year, that want it gone. That would be a start.

Or, you move up to Super Street.

The pullers got that rule put in last year, the pullers can take it out.

Garrett im with you on the 3.0 class...beside you can always run a bushing down to 2.8 anyways.

Rod whats with the nazi coverup thing?
