dhra 4500rpm limit in street class???

I think Nitrous should be allowed:rockwoot: . If they would alllow Nitrous I would build a pulling truck in a heartbeat:hehe: . Like Gene said get the pullers together and see how many of the registered pullers want it removed. Don't ask the Duramax guys or the guys that can't turn that many RPM's either:kick: .

We built an electric bolt in water pump for you guys and some pullers didn't want electric water pumps. So that little investment went down the drain:thankyou2: .

I agree. It would make the pulls more competitive. You allowed nitrous at your pull, and I dont think one person spraying won................ Some Dmax guys have been spraying nitrous for years....Gene just cant find it

There are a lot of Cummins pulling guys spraying as well.... Whan I owned PDW I had guys calling and getting nitrous stuff all the time that were pullers. The lengths they went to to hide it were pretty dramatic. But guess is it worked, as far as I could tell none got busted.

It can definitely be done. Theres a lot of different ways that you can sneak it in. I personally would never use it unless its legal, but some people want to win so bad, they dont care what it takes. If i cheated, and won, i would feel like crap. If i win a pull i want it to be fair and square.
 
Well there are two types of competitors. Cheaters and losers!
 
I think no RPM limit with stock appearing governor sounds good... BUT, it is sort of a double edged sword because Dual Cp3's and or HPOP's are not stock appearing by any means.. (not that I'm worried about Fords)

And I'm sure Dodge guys will be up in arms once they crack the RPM code for the Dmaxes (or has already happened, rumor has it)
Maybe keep the stock appearing governor rule until Chevy plays catch up on RPM, not that they are having a problem with their limits now.
 
LB7 and 04.5 to 05 LLY are good for around 4850rpm. 06 LLY and LBZs are over 4000 rpm now. I was spinning over 4000 all last season. 4500 rpm limit gives the auto an advantage IMHO.

The RPM rule was Chris Harness's Idea. Not the Dmax guys! Get it straight. I was at Scheids last year when he and his 24V buddies threw there fit. I want the rule removed to. Most Dmax guys could care less.

Again the truth. 4500rpm limit was not and never was a Dmax thing!
 
i do think the rule needs to be removed, but anyone who is spinning over 4500rpm must have a blanket no exceptions

fair enough... I'm not up on pulling politics, I just assumed that since most D-maxes can't pull that high and that since myst 24v CTD's aren't up there in power w/ the d-maxes lol, it was from the d-max camp

that would have either been the last year of dhra or the year before at scheid, iirc.

The pullers got that rule put in last year, the pullers can take it out.

Well the pullers like myself that want this removed we need to try to get a petition or something and see if we can get it changed back, im just not sure how to so any help would be great
 
How about allowing nitrous? What if we can get 50% on that Gene?
