DHRA Mod class weight change

Sounds good. I am glad street is staying 2.8.
The 2.6 class should fill a gap for the mid level trucks....heck I might even bump down!

You bump down I will have to razz you every chance I get about running a measley 66mm charger!

Chris Watsons Ford was a Crew Cab Long Box IIRC, he was able to run and win mod class last year..

no it was a cab n half ford now it's big bad diesel, big bad dodge on here.

the new one will be done by murfreesboro but still debating to bring it out on an indoor pull......

Hadn't heard the timeline. I've been in on some builds.. know that things can take a while sometimes.

what type of engine are you building for the mod class? I heard It's a duramax but wasn't sure.

I was including Todd in the "doesn't get out real often" crowd, along with Jody (Gus) Mackereth (sp?) Darryl Poole's truck (MIA?) Dave Mitchell's old truck (possibly new owner?)

mitchells old truck went to the scrap pile (parted out) theres 2 more mod trucks in ohio matt headly and cliff carnes (in progress) but neither has a oem block. there would be a hell of alot more of these trucks if you diddent have to have the keys to the us mint to iwn one.

why did Dave part his truck out? I was told he pretty much got out of pulling because he wanted to spend time with his family.....

there will be a Mod class Dmax this year from out of Wisconsin (i think its wisconsin).....im sure someone could talk Kyle Michaels into running a few Mod class pulls.....Get some of the twin turbo SS guys like Ted Sterner to jump up and run the Mod Class.....give the lower power guys a weight break or something.......get the numbers up first then get picky about the rules later.....
