I always told my Dad, if his 05 did something funny, unplug the Edge, and drive home worry free.. LOL

If I would have known it was such a ***** to unplug. I would have left the truck stock! LOL





all is ok now though, it is running the SMARTY (he did that amazing thing and unplugged the edge)

oh you mean like pulling your head out of your ownass? i doubt if he removed it that would make a difference. remember its the battery cables causing his low numbers! hes putting 3 more batteries in his truck and is now shooting for 2000hp.

3 or 4 years ago I had a TST/R39 on my truck and it worked fine but I wanted more. I tried to load a Smarty, didn't load because of wiring issues on my truck, so I bought an Edge EZ, stacked it with what I had, went to the dyno. I pulled it in when my turn came, got the three pulls that I paid for, made something in the mid 400's no matter what combination of settings I tried. The day went on and another guy put his d-max on the rollers, he was all stock except for an Edge Attitude with the outlook monitor and he put down 480hp...needless to say I was very disturbed...I arranged another dyno hook, went out and literally tore that POS EZ off my truck, put the truck back on the rollers, made 523hp on the ground.

I'm not saying the TST is the way to go but neither is it a bad product, I now run a Smarty.

All who wish to use inferior electronic products and complain about disappointing dyno number are only kidding themselves!
 
well from wat ive read and heard bob.... dynod again saturady and it did 517hp up from 456hp. and all he did was tighten his neg battery cables???:what:

i need to try that mod.... lol. glad he figured sumtin out.

That and cleansed a couple grounds. And now my T/C will stay locked under load in high gear.

No. I'm good it just really gets to me when someone say something and when it's disagreed with the disagreeing party becomes the bad guy. Half the guys that post on threads like this don't even read them they just get on the post band wagon. I have never acted like this on a forum but this one really lit my fuse. And by the way what a guy got to do to get baned.
