Drag comp stacked with smarty

i'm running just comp, hrvp and 325hp sticks and it runs. peek boost is 82lbs, egt's are 1350degs at wide open up hill.

Hey BigDodge... Did you buy those injectors in Texas?

Everything is bigger there you know... I'm sure they shrunk down to about 200hp injectors once you got across the state line.

2002 dodge 4/4 shortbed

i have never had a dodge before it is a 2002 dodge ext.cab 4 wheel drive with a L6 deisel 24 valve 6 speed tranny i seen in here people have the 12 valve what are the differants between them is one better than the other i am looking to buy this one if the price is wright thay want 24900 for it and it has 59000 miles on it would like some opinoins on this ASAP PLEASE Thanks Frank
 
If its an '02 it's a 24v. $24900 is way to high. Basic difference 12v are mechanical injection, 24v are electronic.

what price range wood this 02 dodge go for i thought it was high but i never owned a dodge deisel before thanks for the input.
 
if you buy edge 150hp stick do you think they will give you 150hp? schieds rates them at 325hp not me. i just put them in and just go for the ride.

There is no way that a VP can support an injector that size.

Are you sure that they don't mean a stock truck will 325 rwhp with those installed?

And for the record, the 150hp Jammers will add 140-150 hp easily.
 
has anyone used just the edge nozzels didnt know if they worked good using the sock injectors i was ganna go with the stage 3 or 4 nozzels,whats yas input on those things
 
they are 7 hole x .020 per hole. schieds calls them 300 plus. i had edge 150's then went to schieds 200's "7 hole x .010 per hole". then to schieds 300's 7 hole x .020 per hole. then put there HRVP-44 with the 300's and it goes a lot better. it will be going to the dyno next week to see what it got for numbers.then we will see.

There are 3 or 4 trucks running around here that have the Edge jammers in them.

With the BD twins, there is no reason you can't do the stage 5's.

Once you install the tips on the injector bodies, you need to have a pump shop pop test the injectors.

I can guarantee your 300 HP injectors will not dyno any higher then a 200hp set from Dynomite or Extrude Hone.
 
7 @ .020 Sticks are for P-pump'd trucks.. Big pumps at that..

You're just making mosquito killer with sticks that big in a VP equipped truck.

No I'm not in Texas TwinCummins.. Indiana.. About 50 minutes from Scheids.. :D
 
have you ever tried a set of scheids injectors? we have used edge,dynomite,bd,extrude hone, and schieds. the guy who edm's them for scheids does them for most of the other companies offering performance injector. like i said it's going to the dyno next week and we will see what they will do. we will be there all day testing 5 sets of injector and some turbo setups. then we will know!
 
So if I can almost get the duals to lite up now, the smarty should give me that low end grunt to rip em up, correct?

Now, do I want to spend $650 to spend money on tires.... :D
