And find a new hobby ain't gonna happen
Asked for input and got nothing but bunch of pus*** running there mouths

Okay, a LOT of people start out thinking they need/want/will build(or have) a 1,000hp truck or a 9 second truck or WTF ever ridiculous goal they initially have in their head.

The smart ones quickly realize how foolish their initial goal was in all likely hood. Then they start by building a base of knowledge and go from there. That takes time...A LOT of time.

Your not going to set the world on fire in your first foray into any sport, else your a prodigy.

You could have saved yourself............maybe.

Now your chances are slim..........

Ok, lighter is better first of all, but you've given us no info on what your regular cab conversion will be. Will you cut the frame and leave the leaf springs or back-half it? You also haven't said motor or nitrous, that will affect your turbo selection. Budget?? If you have 100K we can advise you on how to run 7s, if you have 10K, 10's will be hard.

Well prob gonna leave leaf springs. Budget isn't a big issue however long it takes me to build it is what it takes. Will use nitrous.

Well, start out with a single small turbo, maybe a 62mm or so, and add an external gate. Tune the chassis and get the converter right where you can cut good 60ft times with a single and nitrous. After that, add fuel and more turbos accordingly. Good track times are all about the 60ft time!

Question for you...

How old are you and do you have a minimum of $30,000 in the bank to spend?

Y does it matter how old I am and I'm gonna build this piece by piece in my spare time.. As I work 7 days a week so it will be a long project

.... it's unfortunate, but usually younger guys tend to get really defensive with their lack of knowledge and 'unlimited' budgets...... projects never happen.... they fade away as another stereotypical newb

process repeats, cycle continues, and here we are.

I told my friends i wanted 1000whp when i bought my truck in 2008. when i back-halfed it later that year I was thinking maybe 750 sounded really good. When i bought my first 'big box of goodies' 35/3B compound kit I was thinking 600-650whp was going to be the stuff.....

fast forward to 2010 when i made ~520 on a single 63 and trashed my transmission I decided that was a good place to be, and started working on getting my trans right and "learn" how to run the thing at the strip.

Keep going, I think you have them beat into submission. :welcome::welcome::welcome:

Almost anything you need to know is on here somewhere.

Most on here are mid to older guys, we don't speak the jargon of the text world. Good grammer builds some respect right off the bat. I've spent countless hours on here searching for stuff, is it easy to find? Some of it, most of it is hid but can be found.

Hurley said it pretty simple, just ask someone like RonA how long and how many combinations it took to reach where has gotten let alone how much it cost.

Dude (Yzf) you are a slow learner..... what these guys are trying to tell you is this.... there is a certain hirearchy here... and until you earn some respect you have to show some respect... this includes forming full sentences, at least try to have proper spelling.. (we have several members here that struggle with this, but at least still try) Information is never free,, think of this as the cost to get information. Be respectful, ask intelligent questions, and then take the time to listen to the answers that you are given... there is alot of good information, from a lot of very smart guys on this site (along with a bunch of BS from others,, LOL) It is a very expensive proposistion to get a truck that was designed to haul loads to haul azz if you know what I mean. I probably have between 50k and 100k invested into my truck (quit counting along time ago) and it dosent even run right now.
