Dual VP44's

I don't know if more fuel would really equal more RPM... If one VP-44 doesn't like to spin at 4,000 RPM than I don't think two would be that much more inclined to spin at 4,000 RPM.

Unless you were to underdrive both of them at half speed, build lines such that each one fires a cylinder on every other go around... Then I'd bet that you could fuel to at least 4,500 RPM... But then the electronics required gets a ton more complicated. A couple latches on the driver-capacitor-amplifier circuit might do it, some how...

The VP44 was first introduced 10 years ago. What was the P7100 doing in 2004, max HP #2 only?

Well I dunno maybe so. But a SO VP44 is capable of more than an un-modified single CP3.

Good move, try to distract us with another argument!!

I'd put a modded CP3 up against anything a VP has, any day.

And then see what you can get out of a SigmaLOL

:evil:evil:chug:

Been wondering how long it was going to take for his topic to come back around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

I got it all figured out just need the money to get it all built up nice and neat. But that would be a lot of money concidering the off the wall crap thats going to have to take place

what a about a single vp and a cp3 ran into a rail then y into the vp lines somewhere after the rail? that would be crazy!

Do cp3's make good power at 4k? My brothers truck dropped like a rock.

So your saying I'm right?

A SO VP is capable of more than a stock CP3!

begle1,

Seriously?????? yeah it would mean more RPM as a SOvp cant flow up at that RPM. thats one of the points of being able to get more fuel!!!!! to drive rpm, which means the horsepower curve keeps going up!

Rail wont work for a VP, the VP has indiviual line for each injector. The injectors on a VP truck ar not controlled electronically to open, the are open all the time. Fuel is pushed through the injector as the VP pushes fuel out of each of its 6 discharge ports.

i know a rail wont work but but how would you connect injector lines together? thats all i was sayin

I'm sure people said the same thing when twin CP3's were in development.

If people are making 700hp+ #2 only on 1 VP, 1400hp or more could be possible with 2? Now were talking:rockwoot:

Now you sound like the guys who add up the horsepower ratings on chips and exhaust and intake manifolds :hehe:

I dont think anyone said that about dual CP3's when they were in development, the thing about it is, dual CP3's and Dual VP44's of which one is more time consuming to build, look at just the responses of this thread alone!! can it be done yea sure ANYTHING is possible with the right no how and money, but after you have done everything wouldnt it have been cheaper to do a ppump or just go buy a CR for gods sake :bang im sure some one will do it one day and it will be one of those trucks that no one copies what it does cause of all the issues it has but it is fun to see it go down the track when its not having electrical issues. And if your doing all this work just to compete in street stock class, think of all the money you have dumped in you could have went to a sigma or ppump and probably been competitive with other pullers,
