Rims don't touch, have a 285/75/16 tires. The rims are about 3/8" to 1/2" apart. I have tightened them down and I can pull them together. Anybody ran them like this?

Yea the ones I ran last year you had to have somebody push in on it just so I could get the lug nuts started, no problems as long as u didn't drive with them on the road

I end up with the stud being flush with the nut when they are tightened.
How much did you guys draw yours up?

As tight as the impact would get em haha... Didn't get the good gun out but still gotta em pretty tight

Hurry up and find them longer lug studs, Dan, I want some too. :D

Mine are that way, i have to get help pushing them on or air the outside tire down, bolt it up and it pulls the wheels in tight, then air the tire back up. the studs end of flush with the end of the lug nut, but the wheels are pulled in tight.

I ran them all last year, never had any problems.just tq them down as far as they will go and roll with it

we ran a 1/2 inch spacer and that kept them from touching, I would worry about the tire distorting and losing surface contact with them pulled together

What are you guys doing taking a dually rim and tire and bolt it up to the stock single wheel rim?

no, the tires are just so wide that there hitting each other before the wheels do, pretty much we need spacer to push the tires apart

All dually wheels, you won't get a dually wheel mounting surface to ever hit the single wheel mounting surface.
