dualls on the back of a sled puller

I could make 5/8" work I imagine, right now I think I will just squeeze them together.

What all was involved in swapping to the dually rear end? Just swap the read end out? Is that what you guys did or?

I still run my SRW rear, just removed the caliper and bolted on a set of dually wheels.

Some do, i put them back on and run single wheels when i run with NADM and a few other places. but the brush pulls where i can run duals I take them off and cap the lines.

Im gonna see if my spacers will let them clear the caliper so i can leave them on all the time

do you guys that have ran duals think its a definite advantage?? Im going to build rims 9" wide If they will clear the springs, for 33-12.5s just want to know if its worth it

thats with 17's on a AAM rear right? i run 16.5's on a D80, ill have to try the spacer on the hub to see if mine will clear.

hey dan where were running our tires tight like the rest . but it allways felt loose like drivin on ice back there. then i call patti at HMR and she told me that was the reason. with out a grap for dirt to go your gonna just ride on top in the loose stuff not dig down to hard dirt. so i put a 2,5 spacer inbetween them and wow what a difference, she said then it is also like havin 6 seperate tires hookin in stead of 2 fronts and 2 really wide rears.

yea, didnt think of that, i would think they would though, if you have to you could always get a 3" spacers

Interesting. Might keep my eye for some cheap spacers. Where is a cheap place to get some two inch spacers? The only other thing I have to watch is the track width rule.

Sorry guys iam on my crap burry lol. Iam fixn to do a dually setup to pull on but I plan on adding fenders and runnin them all the time

So what exactly are you guys doing to run duals on a SRW? My truck is a 97 so has drums on the rear. Would it work or no?

Yes it will work. 2" spacer next to the drum, Then your inside wheel, Then a 2-3" spacer and your outside wheel. Your spacer width in between the wheels will depend on your tire width. That is the way I ran with a SRW with a 3" spacer in between but now I have a DRW and still kept the 3" spacer and it leaves a little over 1.5" or so between the outer edge of the tires which are 315's.
