Dyno tips

I've decided that I'm not going to the dyno this weekend so it'll have to wait, again, for another one.

You should come to this dyno it will be a blast.

My tranny will be in tomorrow morning at 10 so hopefully she holds up to the power before the dyno!

Probably but the money and time would be better spent elsewhere. Oh well. Maybe it's a sign. Didn't get the pump in in time and then the ranch being canceled. Sometimes you need to stop and listen.

hey man, if worse comes to worst, a couple of friends and i are going to hit up that dyno in san antonio maybe next month with our trucks. if you dont make it to one here shortly, heck you can meet up with us over there..

Down there at lethal performance? I was there last year. I'll be there this year hopefully. Seems something keeps coming up every time a dyno comes up.

yeah. the owner is purty cool. when i get my tranny fixed, and my friend gets his CR finished up, we were going to make a roadtrip down there and hit the rollers a couple of times and get some numbers..

Damn skippy I'm scared. Don't want no fat cougars rubbing all up on me. LOL

Hey you got to do what you got to do! If it's alright, I might join yall at Lethal? I need to get mine on and see where it's at!!!!

Do yourself a favor and make sure the box works before jumping back on the dyno, otherwise you might be wasting your time and continuing your legacy $.02

Tyler.. On the APPS.. you can use your ADR.. Just look at your throttle position, make sure you are getting 100%.. On the MAP.. with out a scanner you can still look at the voltages by back probing the sensor connectors.. I use little sewing T Pins.. I don't poke the wires.. just slide it down between the wire seal and the wire, so it make contact with the pin internally.. I have lost the list of voltages.. as far was when you are at Xpsi what the voltage should be.. but if the voltage is changing, at least its getting from the sensor, to the box, and leaving to the ECM.. with the scanner, you would get a better check, because you will see exactly what the ECM is seeing. The T-pin trick is a good quick field check..

How does the boost value read on the ADR?? Mine still has a bounce or spike.. every few seconds it spikes up about 8psi and back.. (but my monitor is on some old software..)
How many times have you changed that MAP..
You have something little holding that truck back... You'll get it... Good Luck,
Bryan

The ADR is reading 100% on the APPS. The MAP sensor has been replaced once I think 2 years ago? My pulse monitor bounces 1-3psi but it's got the latest software on it that helps smooth that out.
