I don't think there is any difference between the EZ and the comp on level 1-3.
I have been running a Catcher (no timing) and EZ stack for several months now. I could tell RIGHT AWAY when I took out the EZ that I had lost power compared to the stack.. I have a very highly calibrated butt-dyno.
In all honesty, the biggest difference I noticed was smoke control. With a catcher/ez stack, I had to make an effort not to black out 2 lanes of traffic. With only the catcher, I don't have this problem at all.
I'm happy with the EZ, but I want to get a pump-tap box now. The Comp is a great choice to stack with the catcher, but I don't know why you would do it with an EZ. From what I have been told, the TST comp version is the best stack with the catcher, but it has a VIOLENT shutter when you let off the fuel. The hot version of the comp is another great choice, but doesn't fuel in the higher RPMs like the TST. Down low, they are almost the same, its just about 2700 that they change. So I have been told.
The next box I'm going to try is the Bluechip FMS. I'm going to stack this with the catcher (no timing version). My only concern is that I will have 2 fueling boxes with no advanced timing. From what I understand, this will have the best low-end torque, but lose power in the upper RPMs.. The TST is also a fuel only box that would be very similar to the FMS, but fuel harder in the upper RPMs..
I just want to try something different. So guy buy my EZ and I can get the FMS installed.
