engine rebulids

mine was $13,500 with me doing all the work myself except machining.. that was with a 467.7 turbo new crank and much much more
 
damn! it only cost my buddy I think 6k that was with a .020 over and new pistons, double disk clutch and 60 over injectors and he and I did the rebuild.
 
.020 over marine pistons, polished crank, all Cummins parts....more than I, or especially my wife would wanna talk about! Save yourself some cash of your not going big, and buy a kit from one of the forum sponsors!
 
yea i wish i would have just went with a rebuild kit. Now im married to the damn truck but i do love the power
 
The complete rebuild kit and that includes upper and lower gasket set is about $1600. Where are you located at??
 
bout 7100 in mine with turbo, including HTT Quick Diesel64, Head studs, 75hp tips, 12v rods and .40 over mahles
