experience with larger intercooler

I know right?! Very odd, but of the 3 or so threads or can find they use parts of or all of these formulas to figure boost pressures....
 
Your not looking for boost pressure your looking for pressure ratios, two very different things. boost pressure is simple subtract your primary boost from total boost.

That is correct. But the odd part is that the secondary is "making"10 psi but pressure ratio is around 2.44

That was my way of doing it too. When I saw guys saying their secondary was only making 10psi or less I figured they were talking about something else, or just didn't know.
 
yep, just did the math again.. pr 0f 3.24 on primary and 1.67 on secondary..
need more on secondary

Yeah, drive the secondary harder or it may not have the shaft horsepower to recompress the air and obtain a higher pr.?

I just have to adjust it, i am sure it does add i have no external gate, On the 351...
 
Adjusted gate, it drives each turbo right at 3.02 pressure ratio..
It hauls and my egts are down compared to old intercooler now at same boost level.
Flow is good!
 
Moar vrooms got me 3mph in the 1/8th! And s new best, it wasn't all she had at a 7.71 at 93.07!
