Fathers day Pull in CERES, CA

Jeez, someone must be made of money....just kiddin' JP:hehe:.....so what's the deal? Why did you not like the claws? I'm tellin' ya, STSs are where it's at, they just seem to give the best bite on the track without digging a huge hole for the rear tires to plow through. I cannot wait till Gustine to try out my new front shoes.......:rockwoot:

Joe

Not made of money, just lucky.

On one hand I think the claws are good because I can pull 4200 rpm in 5th with them, and the rpms drag down to about 3800 at the end of the track-- so it loads the engine ok. On the other hand, watching the vids, it looked like it threw way too much dirt in front of the sled. I have a set of semi worn toyo mt's I'm going to try next.

Nice pulls, grats to the winners.

What happened on Albert's pull? He just seemed to smoke a whole bunch then stopped.

Does anyone know if the Rules in Gustine will be similar to they were in Hilmar/Ceres? I.e. any exhaust, no helmet etc...and same with Turlock? Planning on Gustine being my first pull out this year followed by Turlock, want to make sure my truck is ready. :rockwoot:

Gustine is vtpa I don't think helmets are required but Turlock must have helmet

I thought thats what you were running before the claws? Well, at least your getting some good comparison runs in with the different tires.
