Maybe the squirrel got out when you put the injectors in... Try turning the Quad down, the highest setting is not always the best.

I agree with everyone else, with your turbo and injectors you should see higher Egts than 1200 with a working Adrenaline. I had an adrenaline once, I still liked my edge comp box or tst comp better. Adrenaline was too unreliable...
 
Ive come to conclusion that its just to much fuel, with the little turbo. All the fuel is keeping it cooler. Im gonna find a cheap hx35 and put that on. Then go with a 62mm and let it rip!


Btw my adrenaline is working flawlessly, it just has to be to much fuel for my little turbo so its not making any more bang.
 
is it pumping thick black smoke all the time under full throttle?
if not then its not too much fuel

Its thick when i get into it, even when its spooled up it leaves a good cloud, that u cant really see thru.
 
I can hit about 34psi, still smokes. I played with the adrenaline tonight, runs better but it still hits that wall just stops pulling. I guess i just need a turbo.
 
you know, once in a blue moon, boxes go bad on 24 valves :poke:.

Ask anyone else on here what they did with really large sticks (WAY bigger then your starter injectors) and a stock turbo. Building excessive heat wasn't an issue.

I'd try someone else's box FIRST, and check your wire tap. Then start spending money.

The truck is def. faster then what it was, now that i messed with the adrenaline. I have checked all the connections twice they are good. I dont think the box is bad. This hy is holding me back.

This is what i think since its not getting that much air the fuel is just dumping in not making any more power its basically just squirting it in and cooling it off. With a bigger turbo i will have more air so it becomes a bigger bang in the cylinders and equals more power and more heat(higher egts).

This is really the only conclusion i have made. I think it makes senseLOL
 
clay... you ask a question and when almost everyone says the same thing you want to tell them they are wrong and say its what you think it is. youre not the only person ever to have injectors on a stock second gen turbo. like lucky jeff said, ive seen much MUCH bigger injectors on a stock turbo and not have the issue you are. how do you know the box isnt bad? have you pulled it apart and inspected it? quad is only a few hours away, get the box checked out

Not telling anyone they are wrong it just doesnt make sense. I dont know why all of a sudden it would be screwed. Power levels work and everything. I guess ill call in the morning and explain what is going on.

But like you said im not 350hp so the superchipped 3rd gen is still gonna smoke me. Maybe its my egt gauge.......
 
There's not a chance in hell an 80 hp injector will ever put the fire out in your truck. Either you've got an EGT defuel issue going on somewhere in your programming or your box just flat out isn't working right.

...Gotta remember we start out almost 100hp less than most CR's...

i've seen 54 psi out of my hx35 with the adrenaline and 130hp injectors and way toastier than 1200*. You're NOT putting out the fire, and i damn sure haven't lost a race to a cr with a superchips. Listen to these folks and get your adrenaline checked out, hell just try unloading the adrenaline and load the tune back in. I had a tune loaded that would not fuel 100% like it should have, called quad and it was a glitch in the software. Call them tomorrow, take off the pump tap and make sure it's got a good connection, and listen to what people are telling you.

Alrighty, i wonder if its my computer not fully loading the tune or something. But ya i will call them in the morning and tell them what is going on. Thanks everyone.
 
I will agree with everyone else saying that your box isn't working right. I had an 01 with a drag comp and 150hp Diesel Dynamics injectors and it ran like something was after it. It ran right with my 07 with just a 170hp Smarty tune that layed down 436 at the wheels. I forgot exactly how hot it would get but it was well over 1200. Im thinkin like the 1500 range.

And there dang sure wasn't no superchiped CR gonna touch it.
 
I would honestly just get a drag comp, the guys at quad are good fellas but sometimes the boxes seem to have alot of problems.

I ran 275s and a Comp box on my dads truck and it would peg the pyro WITH an HX35... Maybe your defueling from boost? Check your settings or change software, see if it changes.
