Getting ready for 4K rpm

I think a fluidampr with pin kit is recommended for over 3500 rpm...

Here's my first attempt at a tractor pull. Left the line at about 3200, bogged a little, and then went straight to 4,000 and stayed there all the way down the track. I was surpised at how smooth it sounded!

did u get a video of josh watson that pulled after u?

I am not for sure if anyone has said this or noth but the 04.5 to 07 trucks really don't like high rpm....one of the reasons is that these motors are extremely tight as far as clearances are concerned which when stuff swells it gets even tighter and thus more friction and more friction is more heat and before you know it you are gonna have melted pistons etc....Before I would run high rpm I would look into balancing your rotating assembly to smooth things out get a fluidampner too....

My motor is completely gutted looking to get bored and balanced....I am leaving 6 1/2 thousandths worth of clearance.....Just a little thought though..
