gt42 machined for a gt45 wheel?
The GT4208R? is that a modified 4202 I'v never seen that on Garretts site. & what turbos are you using now? I know the GT4094R up top but what is the bottom turbo GT4508R? Im only asking bec as soon as my bike sells Im wanting to start buying the parts to build the compound kit. TIAThat's the setup I started with... except the bottom was a gt4208r. It really rocks.
I don't get the earlier statement about a stage 3 not lighting... something definitely wrong there. Hell, even now that I am using a gt4094r on top with a .99 A/R, it still spools as fast as a HE351e.
& also Did Peak diesel build you the kit or did you get all the piping from them? I am just having a little trubble finding out ware to get all the parts from. Again TIAThat's the setup I started with... except the bottom was a gt4208r. It really rocks.

Oh and one more question. What exhaust flange does the GT42 turbos have? Is it the T-6?
They come with either T4's or T6's, but there is only 2 A/R choices with the T6 IIRC. You can also get a stainless housing with a v-band inlet. Thats what I got for my set.
They can be made with a T3 foot as well...I got one!:charger:
My GT3788R spools fast as hell! I can get over 40 PSI of boost at 1500 RPM. Did you not have the mods to support it?
you could get it to spool quicker if it is a divided (twin scroll) exhaust housing by using an actuator operated block-off door on one of the ports. It closes off one of the ports so it turns a 26cm exhaust housing into something like a 13cm exhaust housing and then once you get past a certain psi, the door opens to relieve excess back pressure and help the turbo flow much more in the high boost levels
............... And do you actually own a GLHS???
