It spools at 2000 rpm no problem. It is really quite streetable. It is a lot better than I expected. I am going to look into that housing from columbus diesel though. And maybe a little bit more fuel. My afc is tuned pretty good so its not really smokey when I drive around.
 
Wasn't quite sure on the correct way to spell douche bag. Either way it is spelled he still is one.
 
Do you have any pics of how you did the piping to the intercooler and the down pipe? Also which exhaust housing do you have on it. I have a gt4202 that I really want to run as a single, is why so many questions. Thanks.

It's a 1.15 housing. T6. Custom compressor discharge elbow and downpipe. We used an adapter flange to bolt it to the manifold, the stock oil supply and drain worked perfect. It's actually a pretty clean install and it's actually pretty driveable.

journal bearing? I dont see water lines.

its a gt4294 journal bearing and i like it im honestly surprised with how fast it comes on and once it lights it takes off
 
the 4202 goes good on the bigger motor. the ball bearing must be nice also.

do you get any surge with the 1.01 housing?

Dude the kid is on a budget, with very few fab tools, wanted to try running this as a single turbo, just trying to do the best he can. Why pick on him? I get freakin sick of everybody on here critisizing anyone who does something thats not the popular choice, some people just like trying things. By the way yours does look nice, what turbine housine is that?
 
thanks ryan and thats not the only place with soot there was so much smoke it started coming through my heater vents ha ha
