I twisted my 35 spline SCS axles. Hopefully my Haisley 37 splines will hold up.
X2 I know of more than one person that twisted SCSs last year and went to 37 splines with good luck. The SCS are really no bigger than stock but a better material. That helps but not a lot. Going to a bigger shaft will make a bigger difference.I doubt you'll have any problems with the Haisley 37 splines unless you go to a twin (1200HP+) setup.

Those of you twisting the SCS axles, how bad are they twisted? Did they break? Did SCS stand behind them and send you a new one?
Just dont forget, when you solve the axle problem, the next piece to break is mo money-ring gear.:charger:
Aint power fun?:rockwoot::ft::woohoo:
Any suggestions Gene? I'm about due to ruin some ring gears as I haven't broken any yet.
Bean, how about some pics of the girdle?
You could cryo treatment, might save a little time. But once you start down the R&P road, there is a Rockwell or Eaton at the other end.
