Haisley Comp puller or SB clutch?

the only reason people need a triple is because thwy do not make the power they think they do. If 3.0bguys can run a weighted twin for a season, theb people tearing clutches up any sooner than that are doing something wrong.

Thank you!

so if i get my SB rebuilt with full feramic pads, and up the pressure plate to a 4200, how will that do for me. i only plan on running 3rd low, maybe 4th low if i can get it.

Got smoke did u got to schieds last year if u did u should have noticed josh watson was runnin a sbc. Triple in his mod truck. Clutch came apart and destroyed his motor. And I pull this so called hero gear cuz I can and how many dual disc have u slipped on the street? Why would I waste my time pullin 4th or 3rd. I am not comparin duals to triples I just don't see why anyone would spend 1700 on a ig when u can spend the same amount of money on a triple? I run a triple cuz that's what peter, dan kenny and several others said that's what I needed! I just choose kennys

Refer back to post #24.

if you are running a SB Double Disk and when it wears out can Kenny rebuild it with sintered iron disk? est. of how much the cost is

the kennys cluthes are looking pretty good. is a weighted pressure plate necessary?

kenny will rebuild other manufactures clutches so he can put his iron disk in a sb 4200.

he also can machine the flywheel and add a third disk on exsisting dual disk of certain makes.

Today I called Peter because my plow truck broke down & I wanted to see what he'd say about snowplowing with the sintered iron disc. Peter said "Go ahead, you aren't gonna hurt that clutch. If you do, I'll take care of it" That is customer service right there! I have never driven a Kenny, I have no opinion there. Just wanted to share that with you.

We are a sb dealer and we love them for daily driver trucks and the guys out their at sb are alsome to deal with. but from a pullers point of view i had a sb in are full time puller and it left for a haisly. but don't get me wrong sb make a great clutch.

For a full time pulling truck you will never beat a haisley comp puller. We have abused ours for 5 years and only had it freshened up once... The last 2 years we have been leaving the line at 7k. Plus the service is second to none!
