Haisley "HI FLOW CONNECTOR TUBES" anyone?

I ran .120 for a while with 8x18 injectors and they were beneficial because the injectors were so large the amount of fuel stored in that tube helped supply the injectors.
 
I have a set from Smokem.

So far, I am very impressed with them. Idles almost as good as stock.

New is on the bottom, stockers on top. Sorry for the fuzzy pic.

The tubes are a good idea they seam to help get more fuel to the engine and can wake up a lazy set of injectors.

I run the haisly tubes and schied lines both 93ths there ok i guess I couldnt tell any difference , now say with BD injectors it had a good lope but with the machs it quit , good balence ? who knows

BTW i can get you the same tubes for 60$ plus yours ,,Kurt sent there same tool to a guy here
 
If someone can get me a set by the end of the week let me know, i am running some big sticks with stock crossovers and i think it may help a little to open the flow up. maybe not but who knows. I need to replace my o-rings on the cross overs anyway so might as well upgrade when i pull them out.

how were they not as streetable? Im currently running 7x0.010 injectors but Im running out of fuel, yet I know my drag comp is at its limits.

Thats what Sheid told me when I was asking about a set of their sticks. The man said with my 150 sticks (mach 4) I'd be better off using the tubes than a bigger stick.
 
I'll c what I can do usally he wants the cores in hand first, but mayb we can work something out,, shipping would b 10$ so 70$ would cover it
 
I have a set of .096 tubes from haisley, only had em on for about 2 weeks and I'm getting rid of my truck so I'm taking everything off. Make me an offer.

I was under the impression that Don M does not recommend the use of larger tubes with his injectors.

I would imagine it has something to do with the pop off pressures he runs.

Haha actually not anymore....the kid said he couldn't get the money as he previously thought. Yeah I did get a VP from a guy here. Turned out it wasnt the problem it was my wastegate...idk y but I never blocked it off, I did after I had the same problem with the other pump in and now its all good swapped pumps back and I'm back to normal. Not to dissapointed about not sellin the truck though..just got my new B1 in gonna try it out.:ft:

You're probably right, and when speaking to Doug Smith on the issue of tubes and/or lines he's said they don't dyno any higher on a vp44 truck :doh:

He's done a lot of testing with f-1 sticks. 832 ring a bell? :hehe:

Not biased just honest...... I have done a ton of time dyno testing and the results of going to larger lines and or tubes was no gain and sometimes even a loss of HP on a VP truck. This was with many different injectors not just F1. I have tried F1, Bully Dog, Diesel Dynamics, Buddha Power, DDP, and a few others.

I ran a set of Haisely tubes on my truck with the current mods listed below. Seemed like the top end had just a little more power but I couldn't tell it down low. I never dynoed them so who really knows. One thing is for sure.....the idle sucked ass. I don't know if there are different sizes available or even what size I had, they were from a buddy in Indiana. I gave them back and still wonder if I should have kept them. My wife loved the truck jumping from side to side at intersections but I was a little concerned about motor mounts and everything else it shock the hell out of. It idled perfectly with a cold motor. Once everything got hot, idle went to Hades quick.
