I put a stocker back in mine. push rods-push tubes(whatever) the things that push up on the rocker and open the valves :hehe:
Take your engine serial # to the local Cummins parts house and ask for the top end gasket set, comes with everything you need and is not that pricey.
Call Snedge at MUMAU Diesel for your Cummins Gasket needs- they have very killer prices and the service ROCKS!!!:rockwoot:
CompD Site Sponsor also!:woohoo:
thanks for pointing me in the right direction and thanks to Jeff at MUMAU
the gaskets will be at the house tomorrow :rockwoot:
So how do the rocker arms come off? Do you just remove the bolt in the middle?
kyle, i wanna watch you do this....:Cheer:
Take the lines off or ull take a chance of breaking them. thier is two rubber gromits in the firewall above #6, ull need to remove those so the push tubes can pass into them and then out. I removed the insulation thier also cuz if u have studs it is a tight fit. I also replaced the alignment dowels$.02. go slow and ull be fine. And yes the return fuel line is a pain, just dont forget it! I also use a long narrow card board box and punch holes in it to place the push tubes, rockers, and bridges in order, so they go back exactly the way they came out.
Each bridge has a small dimple on one side. They seem to be randomly placed. I removed the first exhaust bridge and didnt notice which way it was on. I dont know if this matters or not. Anyone have info on this?

The way i did my head was to start at the front and mark 1-12 on the bridges on the face that points out. that way you know where they go and how they were on the valves.
