Help! Not starting without ether

seems only choice you have is to pull it back apart and check it, if it's not off then you are going to have to degree the cam.

I know it sucks but there's nothing to do but do it.
 
No I guess its gonna have to be taken apart again and checked to see if they line up.
 
Just pull the cover off and look at the dots to see if its lined up.

1hr job.
 
Tim is always getting into something, he's returned my calls nights and weekends many times- I'd call him now =P
 
Did you recheck all of your valves for lash? A loose valve could cause the starting issues.
 
Good news is I think you can pull the cam out enough to move it a tooth without pulling the tappets up.

Dont hold me to that though.

Tappets are 1.2" I think. Gear is 1" IIRC. Best hold up the tappets....hmmm.
