ruling out double overtime, whats the highest hp ford out there? i know Zanes truck is in the upper 800s, then i saw the thread about the 3 piece 7.3 truck belonging to Cale and they were saying 900hp on fuel only. i just was curious as to who has the top numbers for a 7.3?
 
well i was just curious cause i always thought it was Zane that was pushing the envalope with the 7.3 , had the fastest one out there and so on and i know he was using spray to get those numbers then i heard of the guy Cale that was at 900 on fuel and i didnt think that was possible.
 
I wonder what Shawn Ellerton is at? 11:41 with a DD is awsome, anyone have a guess where he is at HP wise?

thats what i am trying to figure out . dont have a big a bag of knowledge when it comes to the blue oval but i thought Zane was at the top of the list with a 10 sec 7.3 and he just dynoed at 89X with 2 stages of :nos: then i heard of Cale that was at 900 on fuel only so i was just trying to figure out who was really on the top of the 7.3 game rulling out double overtime since its part cummins.

Just guessing at 7200 lbs, with his 120 mph trap speed it comes up 844 RWHP on a calculator.
 
Pretty sure he is closer to 8000 with a SD and a big tool box in the back....

come on mikey lol what part of ford ever came out with a p pump? it may have the 8 cylinder p pump on it now but i remember it did at one time have 2 4 cylinder p pumps on it and that sure sounds like a cummins part to me.

actually it has a V style pump not a inline 8 bosch or 2 inline four pumps.

i could have sworn it was 2 4 cylinder pumps and now it had a big 8 cyl pump on it. also heard it had a 16cyl pump and had 2 lines per injector but that was just a rumor. i saw the pics of the 2 pumps or v style pumps, i will have to look for them. i could be wrong and it wouldnt be the first time. if so sorry in advance:Cheer:

i'm very skeptical of that write up on cale.. i saw the pics of the aftermath with the blown motor and all, but come on look at what his equipment was :
a single turbo, and not a very big one at that will in NO WAY make 900HP w/out nitrous, NOR will it make 100psi of boost pressure as was stated ..
unless there was a second turbo that was not shown i don't buy it.

what about the 6.0 crowd ?? i know a few guys like tadd and some others are up in the 700HP range right ?? i'm no slouch, but at over 600RWHP i'm sure i'm not near the bottom of the list of hipower 6.0's either

which calculator ?? something's gotta be off, because i'm heavier that 7200lbs by quite a bit, and my trap speed is a few mph shy of 120 and i haven't broken past 700RWHP yet ??

just because it uses a different style of FUEL pump does mean even remotely that it's in some way powered by a cummins ...
it's a 7.3 motor (or at least it started off life as one), but i'll give you the fact that it is so highly modified that there are few parts on that motor that are interchangeable with an otherwise stock 7.3L motor..

You guys will have to keep guessing with that one. The last time his truck was on a dyno was at DPC in 2007 and it dyno'd at like 728 and it is ALOT stronger now. Oh yah, and about that 11.41..... Prepare to hear about a lower 6leaker record from Shawn again on Saturday.

i understand that but its no where near a 7.3 powerstoke either. i have seen the motor and no what they have accomplished, got to give them kudos
 
Go get em Shawn, the 6.0 is quickly gonna start seeing some big HP numbers. I like the sound of that!
