highest hp Ford?

i gess its not fair to call the inline 6 motors cummins then since most of them are running sigma pumps

like stated in the last comment, you do make a good point with the pump come back BUT the inline6 motors that you speak of didnt have to spend bookoo $$$$$$$ on a one off fuel system either.

that's cause they're more readily available, if more people were doing what double overtime is the prices on all his parts would be mass produced (like cummins parts) and be much cheaper then they are right now

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't P-Pumps been used for Decades, before the 5.9?

So, why if it is a p-pump is everyone calling is a cummins? Do you guys not know there are other engine outside of your 5.9?

This is the problem with the internet:bang

Cale's truck has twins and does make 100 psi. I'll reserve judgement on the 900 hp though.

okay then i can see that happening, it's just that the photos that i saw only showed the one turbo and there was just no way that the one i saw was capable of 900 w/out spray OR putting out triple digit boost numbers is all...

garantee he spent 2x the money it would take to get a CUMMINS at that level since he had to custom make just about everything on that motor and he is still not the top dog, yes he competes very very very well but we all know who is on top. CUMMINS :owned:

the 5.9 cummins has also been around for EVER !! if the 6.0 had been around since the early 90's in 3/4ton light trucks you can bet that the aftermarket would be just as evolved and up to speed as the cummins aftermarket is, you gotta know that when a motor has been around aLONG time and has a large performance following there are going to be more and more companies making aftermarket products...
take the chevy small block for example, you can almost walk into a 7-11 and get a rebuild kit and heads for it that's how easy it is to find parts from EVERYONE who makes stuff for that motor...
give us some time, and more and more guys will be offereing aftermarket stuff, just look at the things that ELITE has offered in the very recent past..

we are just now getting to the point where we can buy a set of more than one choice of rods or pistons for our blocks, and soon there will be "off the shelf heads" that we can purchase and swap out, or even have ported or CNC'd... i fear with the demise of the 6.0 however that the market may never be as saturated as it is for you cummins guys, but in the end i think that shines an even bigger light on the guy with the 6.0 who made it fast and strong because you know there's a good chance that all the parts he has he either built himself or had custom made, instead of just going to ATS and ordering everything off the left side of the menu.

Sorry to bust your bubble but i talked to the builder once. It has a custom $10,000 girdle, billet custom crank and rods, grout filled block and one-off custom billet heads. only stock part is the block in the entire engine.

yes you are absolutely correct there is not a chance in hades that DO has a stock block and crank and some head work .. hahaha... keep 'em in line !

There arent as many parts for fords because ford cant find a motor worth keeping in there trucks long enough. And before someone says it yes cummins has made changes, but its still been the 5.9 until recently

yeah well i have more respect for the guy with the 7.3... there are almost NO performance parts available for us... everyone things the 7.3 is just a thing of the past (even though zane just went 10.82 on what looked like a very slippery launch)

there are a ton of parts for the 7.3 you just have to know who makes them

Cale has basically the same charger setup as zane just from a diffrent builder, His big charger is an HX 82, This is the same chargers that ben miller uses, He just has 2 a big and a small.

Here is a pic of one
