i gess its not fair to call the inline 6 motors cummins then since most of them are running sigma pumps
I wonder what Shawn Ellerton is at? 11:41 with a DD is awsome, anyone have a guess where he is at HP wise?
This is the problem with the internet:bang
Cale's truck has twins and does make 100 psi. I'll reserve judgement on the 900 hp though.
garantee he spent 2x the money it would take to get a CUMMINS at that level since he had to custom make just about everything on that motor and he is still not the top dog, yes he competes very very very well but we all know who is on top. CUMMINS wned:
Sorry to bust your bubble but i talked to the builder once. It has a custom $10,000 girdle, billet custom crank and rods, grout filled block and one-off custom billet heads. only stock part is the block in the entire engine.

the 5.9 cummins has also been around for EVER !! if the 6.0 had been around since the early 90's in 3/4ton light trucks you can bet that the aftermarket would be just as evolved and up to speed as the cummins aftermarket is, you gotta know that when a motor has been around aLONG time and has a large performance following there are going to be more and more companies making aftermarket products...
take the chevy small block for example, you can almost walk into a 7-11 and get a rebuild kit and heads for it that's how easy it is to find parts from EVERYONE who makes stuff for that motor...
give us some time, and more and more guys will be offereing aftermarket stuff, just look at the things that ELITE has offered in the very recent past..
we are just now getting to the point where we can buy a set of more than one choice of rods or pistons for our blocks, and soon there will be "off the shelf heads" that we can purchase and swap out, or even have ported or CNC'd... i fear with the demise of the 6.0 however that the market may never be as saturated as it is for you cummins guys, but in the end i think that shines an even bigger light on the guy with the 6.0 who made it fast and strong because you know there's a good chance that all the parts he has he either built himself or had custom made, instead of just going to ATS and ordering everything off the left side of the menu.
i thought the question was asking about high HP 6.o's ?

there are a ton of parts for the 7.3 you just have to know who makes them
is this jeremy from long island????
