While i appreciate support on this matter, i don't think we should add to the drama since the admins don't want anymore. I just got a voice mail from his father, looks like this might get resolved. I'll let you guys know tommorow.

Mommy, the bad boy took my money. NEWSFLASH If $260 causes you to go through all this you are in the wrong hobby. You can not afford it. And littlerpower is just mad your not pimpin Powerjoke Nation. He's gotta make truck payments ya know.....
 
well i hope this doesnt ever happen to me because my momma could care less and when someone gives me there word and lies to me i usually beat some ace! but really how old are you two? im 24 and havnt asked my parents for a damn thing since i turned 16 and got my first car.
 
I do hope you're able to get your money back.

I would have seen all kinds of red flags though if you bought these injectors for $260 total. If that was each, then I would have expected what was offered and would have been highly pissed for what you got.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear.

I have no problem with people calling attention to an issue they have with another member because of a sale that didn't work out right for both parties. That isn't the issue I'm referring to.

What I have an issue with is posting publicly that you're getting the guy's parents involved. You're dealing with truck parts here; you didn't get your yo-yo stolen from the bully on the playground.

Deal with your problem however you see fit. Call the local authorities, take the issue to small claims court, go to the guy's house with a well-tuned chain saw, impregnate his sister, do whatever your little heart desires. My point is, the feedback area is to point out your issue about the seller/buyer you had a problem with.

I'm calling your momma....I'm calling your daddy.....Is not what this area is for.

Also: News flash...You can find crooks all over the world....We don't welcome them here, but at the same time they don't exactly tell us before hand that they're going to pull something shady.

If I were to see this type of behavior on any site I belong to I'd be hunting for this kids head not warning the victim to stop attempting to retrieve what he's lost. If the kid is going to be stealing from people on your site maybe you should do what you can to try to mediate the problem and fix the fraud instead of shutting things down because you're too afraid of dealing with any negative repercussions from it.

I wish more people in this world were willing to stand up for the people in their respective hobbies like they do on Pirate4x4 instead of just ignoring it and considering it a non-issue.

Kevin.....I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you were directed to this thread from the thread starter. (big stretch by me, I know)

This may come as a big surprise to you, but frankly I don't give a damn about Pirate4x4. You don't know how this site is run, and that's just fine. As far as I'm concerned, you can go smoke a firecracker.

Well, i finally talked to his father and sorted it out, he agreed that the parts were misrepresented and his son was being deceitful. If some of you think that its okay to be ripped off 260 bucks and take it as a loss, that is your prerogative... maybe you do not work as hard for your money as i do. Maybe you are just spoiled little brats like Jeff is and have your parents take care of everything when you go whining to them.

Issue resolved...no need for anything else to be said

BUT...to the pirate guy. Allow me to apologize for not signing on to be the god damned Internet police. If you think any of the staff here is gonna tIe on every bad sale here and try to get them resolved then you're sorely mistaken...we have better things to do and it's our policy to not get involved. It would set a precedent where we'd have to step in every time.
The sale forums clearly state buyer beware. If someone has a bad experience it's on them to get it resolved however they see fit. We have no interest in that crap.
If the help on your site is always as good as a recomendation to mail the guy a bloody condom then I'm glad I'm not looking to you for advice.

With that...this one is done. If the OP doesnt get resolution I'll reopen this at his request.
