How many 800+ VP trucks are out there?

I'm sure Caged Fury was there at one time, there are many 600-700hp VP trucks, but like stated above it's hard to get a big charger lit with the rpm limitations........... It's probably doable with a SB or equivlent but I would say most vp's making that kind of power...lag.....lag.....lag......HIT.......fall on face.......and that's about it......

Vp wise I would rather have a streetable 550-650 hp truck that had a decent powerband.........

I think I have the lighting part figured out. Its just that whole, #/min coupled with VE. Theoretically 142#/min can do alot.

I stand corrected, Winslett has a single 66. That is scary.

Thanks for posting that thread. That clears alot up. I had searched for a thread about what he was running but never could find one. Did anyone ever find out what injectors he was running when he broke 1K?

Gated at 38 lbs is even scarier.

I wanna say 6x016's or ddp comps can't remember

injectors were a secret back then and I'm not sure he's running them now--I never heard exactly what they were---chris

he's running a 66/71 isn't he?? gottat love those 71mm wheels....... the exact point I was making in that other thread about 1400egt, you just can't beat the low drive 71mm wheels........

I do remember him saying something like it was with his street setup..... and he had a larger set for dynoing

Mikes truck would be pretty scary if and when he gets it together, theres another youg guy up near Mike whos in the 800+ range and a fellow from Texas thats also up there, this year more trucks will surface and i think it will be a good year for vp powered trucks.

For you guys that are running the monster pump how are you liking it? I've heard good and bad things and don't want to spend a bunch of money on something that I may or may not like.

dude, its a major hit or miss with them... i am, so far, really lucky to have one that is still living lol... i like mine alot, but the only issue i have is slight surging at certain rpm/mph...

I think they really are not hit and miss anymore, i really believe hes got these things figured out. In the begninning your 100% correct they were but that happens when you bring something knew to the table and especially something as fragile as the vp pump itself. I would reccomend the pump to anyone they make some serious power and hes still at the drawing board attempting to go bigger and get more fuel. Big things soon to come. But back on topic. Steve Bohatch (sp) has to be creeping up there as well. Sounds like Roachie has something brewing.
