How to make 700hp VP44?

Isn't there anything that can be done to keep them alive? Doesn't a good lift pump keep them from any problems? Or is there other things that are problematic?

Good fuel pressure and addative helps but according to Monster Pump Mike alot of his failures are people getting off the throttle too fast.

i heard a rumor a while back that installing a p-pump onto a 24v engine automatically adds an extra 6 inches to your "manhood"

i tried to scopes it, but i could not find anything about it

But you have to use a pump built by extenze:hehe:

i am going to but first i need a new turbo!

1.turbo
2.redline
3.water/meth

700hp is easy with a VP. i made 713hp with my 99 and drove it everyday. just depends on what you are going to do with the truck. i was running a HRVP, TST comp with an power puck at the time of the 713 run, mach 7s, a silver 62, and some juice. made 567 on motor and the rest on the bottle. 700 is very very easy depending on what you want to do. also remember that 1000hp is also achievable with nitrous on a VP as well. already proven.

doubleJ aka joel did 720 something on his vp truck...quad adrenaline, prostreet 66, and spray

dont forget about ctd8889

I made 595 on fuel only with a 64. Pritty sure with a little spray with would have been all over 675+. With the new set up hoping to be 700hp or better. Will find out in two weeks.

^^713 on a 62!!!?? What were egts and drive pressures like?
ha ha i was to scared to check drive pressures but boost was right at 51 and egts never got above 1250. nitrous does wonderfull things for us lol. we also made 890hp on a little ol super b special which is a 64. that little guy was screaming , GET OUT OF IT , GET OUT OF IT lol.

700 on fuel is a whole different ballgame than NOS. Is 700 on fuel going to be streetable?:poke:

never said it wasnt tuff to get 700 on fuel was simply commenting on where they said that 700hp on a VP is hard. i beg to differ. 700 is actually really easy. never said anything about fuel only. that is all together not that hard either if you have the right combo.

What injection pump were you running when you did this? Also what injectors?

Wow that is really crazy if you ask me! That special must of been ready to blow up, do you know what his egts were during the run by chance?

I don't know a lot about spray... but the way i see it, it isn't the VP holding you up if ya can spray it and make over 700...the fuel is their... it's the lack of air. But i very well could be wrong!
