How to make 700hp VP44?

800-1000 hp with a vp (fuel only) is going to happen soon IMO good things are starting to happen with these pumps

hate to bust your bubble but maybe 800 but i really dont see anywhere over 900 on fuel only happening with a VP turd.

I love my CR's, but I still think I'd rather have a 12v in my mega cab

I love you man

I always drive through the tunnels around the neighboring city and hit the loud pedal and wish I had that 12er sound

I knew a VP truck a year ago with a single fuel only run 648 on a dynojet this is before the "dragon" came out IIRC

What happened, you buy the dragon and not tell us?

Lavon

not quite Lavon...

he purchased my intercooler, custom 241DLD, and my special coated output shaft (frictionless coating to help free up ponies)...it's going to be WILD

Do you know happen to know his setup?
Well sorta it was a pump not to be talked about (experimental) by a top vp builder a silver bullet compbox and injectors from the pump builder alot of fuel that thing made! And was able to go long trips and run consistent times at the track Im sorry but I cant mention names

So do you guys think a stage 2 Monster will be good for daily driving, I have searched and seen some say yes and some say no, I did 602 on fuel last November with a SO VP Mach 6s SB66, and a TST Comp/VA stack, also head had a lil porting done to it, only got 2 pulls as the Cometic let go on the dyno:hehe:

Ill say this there will not be any vp trucks over 800hp with a stock or hrvp. That technology has been around for a long time. Now if these dragon and monster pumps are what they are all out to be. Which i found out today they are. then there will be a lot jumping on that band wagon and hitting 800hp and better.

the only problem i see is, the pumps life.

monster pumps last 10,000-15,000 miles, who knows about II.

even if they get the lasting as good as a stocker, whats that, somewhere between bad out of the box and 400,000 miles?

What about the new BD pumps? I have been hearing some great things about them. I think it's Dave from BD that has been over on CF saying that there are some trucks running that pump with around 700hp or so on #2 only.

Do they have sheets to back it up?

BD only shows what seems to be their hotrod pump on their website. Is this the pump your talking about or have they built a more aggressive "monster" type pump?

I believe he does have sheets. Go over on CF and i believe his name daveatbdpower or something like that. He works for bd.

I dont know what BD does w/ there pumps, i know its not as much as II or MP

I dont know either but yes i know they are not as extreme and the monster and II but they seem to be much more reliable and you dont have to run the huge injectors and turbos to keep up with the fuel

I'm not sure but from what i have been told its not a hot rod but i could be wrong. Im sure someone who has more knowledge can enlighten us

over 700 on fuel has been done with an SO vp
