those flanges are no where near $500
Some of them are. As I stated above though the one that I had was around $250

no, s475 as the primary using s300g or s362 as the secondary, people even seem to have good results w/ hx35, hx40, or he351 as the secondary, with wastegate work
forced inductions has them for 599
turbo daves has them for 595 shipped
majestic turbo has them for 585
Theres a video on youtube of a white ford with a 12v cummins who did 1394 hp with a similar setup using a s362 and a s480..i think that would be enough 4 me :Cheer: what im thinkin is a s362 & s480 1.32 a/r as a twin setup or a s475 .90 as a single, which setup would bring me more power and overall performance?
I just sold mine for $125. Bran new they are half what you're talking about. You're likely looking at the one from sound performance, try Richard at Performance Metal Works. There are some others I think coming up on the horizon as well.
no way 1394hp is coming out of a 362/480 combo, more like 794 lol.
if you are serious about that kind of power, an s471 over s510 should get you close.
i think he's talking about adam cornell that used A LOT of spray.

If you're running 11s with a 7.8 1/8 mile i'm guessing you have 3.55s. Given you have 3.55s and your current converter i'd go with the 362/480 setup. More area under the curve.
What is a quick spool flange and how does it work???
Correct thats what im running..do you know the specs on the 625 turbo?
625 turbo?
the s362's are a good turbo, ETT 62mm wheel that is rated at 70lb/min, as far as the exhaust side, you can get it a 65, 68, 71 and 73mm wheel, in as t3 0.80 to a t3 1.00 or a t4 0.88, others are avail, but thats all thats useful on the cummins.
for a secondary, the 71 or 73mm wheels are the way to go if you are putting an s475 or larger under it. the 71mm version has a larger shaft and bearings than the 65mm also.
ok i have a htt ss62 thats gonna be rebuilt with the 71mm turbine wheel so i guess i could use this turbo on top.. and a s480 on bottom :rockwoot: is the htt housing dual wastegate good enough for 750-800 hp?
That sounds like a nice combination but I have a question. Is it me or did it seem like it took along time for that 362/480 set to spool on the cummins powered ford truck? Was that a CR or 12v conversion? Any idea on the converter in that ford? Thanks.
supposedly it had exhaust leaks and malfunctioning wastegate/s. its a 12v.
