i need another second e.t.

a very close guess is about 8k-8200..cuz i do alot of hauling with it it the truck and the dump trll tare at about 11450...its a 16 ft bumper pull dump trlr..i think its about 3500

Serious? That seems real high. Put it on the scales by itself and make sure. If it does weigh 8k then you'd be lookin' at 477 and 471 using trap and et. Are those numbers more realistic for your mods?

Gary I think it might be that loose nut being the wheel!! Let the wife drive and she'll get a better time!!

Just messing with ya man.

Don't mean to hijack but at what point do 3.55s and 33'' tires become a blessing? I'd guess im at about 325 horsepower and they seem to put a lot of load on the engine.

33s and 3.54s is nothing. 35s and 3.54s is when the engine starts to notice. There are days I wish I had 33s still.

I scaled mine to transfer title into ca and it was 6780 I don't believe your adding that much weight in bumpers. I could be wrong.

he..sure neely...i dont think its the driver considering that i treed yer ass...comon boy..bring it.....:stab:
altho you did run a 000 light later:Cheer:

hey whattya got for mods far as fuel and wieght..our trucks are similar and they run bout the same

well theyre ranchands..and i know i cant lift either one..plus i got the in bed tank and its full of tools...im kinda guessing at the trlr weight but i was givin it to the trlr cuz i wieghed it by it self and it was like 3500...and the trk and trlr tared in at about 11500...with 100 gals of fuel

so it aint far off...its close to 8k give or take a bit...i aint takin em off tho either way..could be 7500 i guess without the fuel

preciate all the input..lockup sw is comin next oil change when i spend the day doin all the trucks needs...

wheres the best thread on a lockup sw....im gonna put it on a coiled wire att to the steering wheel somehow..think thatll work ok?

Hrvp, II fat shaft 62, edge jammer 100 nozzles, edge juice w hot unlock. Best time of 13.4 in 4wd with a 10 psi. Launch and I would put the lock up on a toggle switch on or off that's it

our combo's are pretty close then..cept i got 7x10 inj and a silver 62...but we run close that day....need a thread on the lockup i guess to do it when i git a minute..if that sw is on or off then yer togglin it everytime ya drive it or ya only usin it to race or pull?

got some other issues on the truck ill spend a day doin it

Just curious, I skipped page 2, have you run the edge without the smarty? I spent a bit of time testing mine on the dyno at the shop I used to work at, and with the hotrod vp, smarty's make things crazy. Its another confusing variable. I tried testing all the various levels of the smarty and many combos as I had as much time as I needed. Interestingly enough, with the smarty and edge stack, I lost almost 10% of my power over just the edge. I went from 473 down to 436. With nothing at all for tuning I was at 429, just pump injectors and air. With just the smarty it was more like 440's.

Ditch the smarty, try running a BD RAD box, and a lock up switch. Even with your weight, you should gain a bit.

Only turn it on when YOU want the converter locked. Other wise the trans shifts like normal. What year is yours?

try running the valves also, to about .008 and .018. i picked up about 200 usable rpm when i did that, of course mine were loose to begin with. i bet when the comp is on it makes it blow through the convertor real bad causing the slower times... as they said lock up switch.... these are basically free mods and will get you at least half a second

well hell if thats all i gotta do..no mechanicals...i figured someone was gonna chime in an say my combo is all f'd up..wrong inj or turbo match or something....but i thought it was pretty good actually..but yall know how it is...always wanting more
thanks..lockup sw comin soon...stay tuned
