I had 6x16s in my first gen and there was smoke all the time idle to wot I wouldnt run them with hx40 your gonna break it. As for fuel system I ran a walboro 392 with a Holley regulator t thing and with the pump cranked and board lever it wouldn't drop more than 2 pounds or so.
