I just installed a set of good size sticks and noticed the company sent thinner than the stock washers, I have a massive amount of haze at idle and was wondering is that due to the injector being further into the cylinder and the spray pattern going further into the bowl, once you drive it it clears, but as soon as you stop it all comes back, I tried em out for a friend who thought he had a problem with em, Monday he will get a new set of correct thickness from Cummins. Thanks for any help, all I could find was a lot of 12v info on the subject but I wasnt sure if it pertained to the 24v as well:thankyou2:.

Depends on the nozzle angle if the injector, 155* thin washer 145* thicker one, 24v need the really thick ones for the connector tube to line up with the injector.

they are probably JL sticks lol they love to haze.

They came from Columbus Diesel, he said Enterprise Engine just cleaned em, set the pop off pressure, they said they came out great and had no issues, he now realizes they are to big for his truck:kick: he had no clue what he was buying:bang

7x.018, they are making power thats for sure, truck idles nice with the bigger tubes and these sticks, I think if the pop off pressure is set a lil higher and the correct washer is put on it will not be too bad, they get my twins lit quick, but now I gotta get a bigger set of my own, maybe I can get Weston to do a set of 7x.014s:Cheer:

I don't like to do anything larger than a 7x0.012" for street use in a VCO, too many incidents of tips failing. I am working on something else, for someone down South, that likes to go fast.

Weston please let me know what you come up with, You know im ready to buy when it comes to your stuff:Cheer: Thanks for replying, ill pm you my contact info again.

I ran a set of JL 7x.018's for a couple days. They hazed at idle & rolled the coal. I didn't have enough airflow for them I'm guessing because these M5's are noticeably stronger. The JL's were smooth though for a big injector.

I followed that thread, didnt he dyno like 619 with those? he used em for pulling didnt he? your truck runs nice with your current combo:Cheer:I think if I get this other top turbo for my twins I should be real close or slightly over 600 with my 7x.012s (I hope:bigsmile:) I did a uncorrected 602 in Nov 07 and it feels faster now.

I did 611hp with my M5's, 64/71/14 [607hp corrected]. Matt has a S475 & 7x.018's did 616hp [608hp corrected]. Matt also has .093 lines & tubes, mine are stock. He has head work done, I'm on stock head, just orings & springs. You should be well over 600hp with that combo. Good Luck!

Dont jinx me :hehe: damn you guys are to close to call, the 64 is doing a hell of a job, its a lot of you guys over 600 this year with just a 64, makes me wish I had done it instead of twins:kick:but man these things are fun up top, I let it go Friday night on the way home on a closed course( highway:hehe:) and the thing didnt show any signs of letting up till the intercooler boot made me pee on myself at about 115 when it blew off.

My brother is right with us. He did 613hp with his CR [100hp injectors II. Silver Bullet & Smarty TNT/R.] Talk about a kick in the balls!!! My bro beat me by 2hp.:bang I'm really impressed with these M5's & 64/71/14.
